Motivational Leader

Your responsibilities

  • Take primary responsibility motivating others, listen to their concerns, and create a constructive and friendly work atmosphere.
  • Being the person of confidence team members can turn to if they face difficulties or have personal issues with the team’s work, tasks and co-members.
  • Be part of the between-team task force to coordinate collaboration between teams.
  • Plan and execute weekly team meetings together with the organizational leader.

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit approximately 10 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis
  • You feel comfortable and ideally have some experience with leading a team
  • You are naturally organised and like coordinating projects
  • You are an empathetic team player and like working with many different people.

CRM & Database Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a CRM database with the details of YGT’s crew members, community members, partners and those signed-up to receive our newsletter
  • Reach out to potential participants and partners via social media, established networks and personal contacts together with the entire team

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit between 3 and 10 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis.
  • You have at least basic skills in database management (excel, airtable) and are willing to become a pro 
  • You have some experience in using customer relations management systems or are willing to teach yourself 
  • You ideally have basic knowledge in coding to optimize CRM and database 
  • You enjoy reaching out to new people and forming connections with them
  • You enjoy working in a young and diverse team

Newsletter Editor

Your responsibilities

  • Take primary responsibility in developing an information strategy for people and organisations interested in YGT 
  • Research and develop a suitable format for a YGT newsletter 
  • Plan and prepare newsletter
  • Reach out to potential authors within the networking team, YGT crew and community and coordinate their contributions
  • Edit the final newsletter and write a brief editorial 
  • Evaluate the performance of the newsletter 

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit between 3 and 10 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis.
  • You have good writing and editing skills
  • You ideally have experience with (interactive) online publications
  • You enjoy independently organising and coordinating your own project 
  • You enjoy reaching out to new people and forming connections with them
  • You enjoy working in a young and diverse team 

Internal Community Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Research and develop a strategy on how to establish and foster an online community 
  • Translate strategy into tangible activities to form and interact with the community 
  • Be the primary person to initiate interactions on discord/geneva 
  • Be the primary contact person for community members if they have questions, concerns or ideas. 
  • Track and evaluate the performance of our community interaction

  • You are well-organized and enjoy coordinating 
  • You are passionate about bringing communities together 
  • You enjoy interacting on online platforms and are very responsive

External Community Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Research and develop a strategy on how to establish a network other organisations, initiatives and people 
  • Translate strategy into tangible activities to reach out to others and establish partnerships 
  • Be the primary person to reach out to others via personal contacts, social media or established networks 
  • Be the primary contact person for partners 
  • Track and evaluate the performance of our networking efforts

  • You have the capacity to commit between 3 and 10 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis.
  • You are well-organized and enjoy coordinating 
  • You are passionate about connecting with like-minded organisations 
  • You enjoy interacting on online platforms and are very responsive 
  • You enjoy working in a young and diverse team

General Team Member

Your responsibilities

  • Support the team by writing articles for the newspaper, collecting material for discord/geneva messages, contacting other organizations and much more
  • Essentially, you will not have the primary responsibility for a big task but you will support everyone!

  • You are passionate about creating communities and being in touch with like-minded people 
  • You enjoy interacting on online platforms and are very responsive
