Methods Expert

Your responsibilities

  • As the Methods Expert, you will be the member primarily responsible for coming up with innovative ideas for global events (think broader than Zoom!!), drafting and preparing sessions.
  • Researching and establishing a YGT-toolkit of different methods for various types of sessions.
  • Researching types of sessions that are interactive and educational to participants
  • Researching types of sessions that will appeal to greater audiences.

Your profile

  • Some experience in or curiosity about hosting and preparing (online) events is helpful.
  • An ability to research creatively.
  • An ability to think outside the box.

Designer of Visual Aids

Your responsibilities

  • Design interactive visual aids that complement our events (most likely on miro).
  • Create workspaces that guide discussions.
  • Plan sessions of events and workshops where participants develop ideas without moderators.

Your profile

  • Some experience in or curiosity about hosting and preparing (online) events is helpful.

Techie

Your responsibilities

  • Manage all tech tools .
  • Create automated sign-ups.
  • Hotfix connection issues during a live event.
  • Create detailed schedules in excel for events

Your profile

  • Affinity for computer programs and tools.
  • You are detail oriented.
  • You want to learn how to conduct online events from a technical tools perspective.
 
 
 

Structured Researcher

Your responsibilities

  • Outline potential new event types and topics.
  • In-depth preparation of event topics to ensure we cover the entire breadth of a topic/skill.
  • Approach topics from non-mainstream angles.

Your profile

  • You can filter and gather important information quickly and concisely.
  • You are methodical in examining sources.
  • You are able to leverage your own and YGT’s network to gain access to new topics and develop them more in depth.

 

Evaluation Guru

Your responsibilities

  • Track KPIs (key performance indicators) to make sure the team is meeting its goals.
  • Gather information on satisfaction with events. Both of participants and YGT’s volunteers.
  • Craft and distribute questionnaires and polls.
  • Conduct small interviews with participants on how we can improve.

Your profile

  • You are comfortable voicing constructive criticism.
  • Some experience with tools that track tasks is helpful, although not absolutely necessary.
  • You ask ‘the right’ questions to get the most useful information.
