Motivational Leader

Your responsibilities

  • Take primary responsibility motivating others, listen to their concerns, and create a constructive and friendly work atmosphere.
  • Being the person of confidence team members can turn to if they face difficulties or have personal issues with the team’s work, tasks and co-members.
  • Be part of the between-team task force to coordinate collaboration between teams.
  • Plan and execute weekly team meetings together with the organizational leader.

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit approximately 10 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis.
  • You feel comfortable and ideally have some experience with leading a team.
  • You are naturally organised and like coordinating projects.
  • You are an empathetic team player and like working with many different people.


 

HR Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Initiate and organize the recruitment process for the different teams of YGT (in collaboration with the other teams) 
  • Have an overview of the crew members: Who is responsible for which role, what is the availability for the next 6 months of each member, when is their birthday?
  • Ensure that the crew members are happy in their position by assessing their well-being through one-on-one conversations, working on their role, etc. 
  • Organizing crew bonding activities like YGT Hangouts, Around the World, Game Nights and more.
  • Guiding the process of members leaving YGT, incl. exit interviews, writing letters of recommendation, certificates, etc. 

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit approximately 3 to 7 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis. 
  • You feel comfortable being in contact with many people. 
  • You are naturally organised, like working with people and collaboration with different teams. 
  • You are an empathetic team player and like working with people from all over the world. 

Money Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Generate funding for YGT and organize donation campaigns. 
  • Apply for sponsorships, incubators and coaching programmes to develop the organisational knowledge by getting external support. 
  • Administer YGTs bank accounts & transactions.
  • General bookkeeping and analysis of money flows of YGT.
  • Knowing German is an asset.

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit approximately 3 to 7 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis. 
  • You feel comfortable writing applications for funding and represent YGT in front of sponsors.
  • You have an eye for numbers and money, preferably you already have (basic) experience with bookkeeping. 
  • You like working in an international team. 

Evaluation Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • Compiling, distributing, and (statistically) evaluating YGT-wide questionnaires (like the Monthly Member Mumble) 
  • Represent date and derive actions for the organisation or a specific team. 
  • You evaluate the work of the Coordination team. 

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit approximately 3 to 7 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis. 
  • You want to understand work-flows and can work out ways to improve them.  
  • You already have some experience with data-work. 
  • You like being in close contact with different teams and working in an international environment. 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Knowledge Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all information is easily accessible and understandable on Airtable, Miro and Google Workspace/ Just Social/Microsoft Teams.
  • Developing and maintaining a resource database.
  • Manage Discord/Geneva channels.
  • Organize skill trainings (like leadership or team building).
  • Manage general YGT software and passwords like Microsoft/ Google Workspace/ Just Social, the YGT Calendar and Email access (manitu.de) 
  • Researching and testing new software. 

Your profile

  • You have the capacity to commit approximately 3 to 5 hours per week to YGT for the next six months on a voluntary basis. 
  • You are naturally organised, like organizing information, and helping out other crew members. 
  • You easily familiarize yourself with new software. 
  • You like working in an international team.
